In Cinder, a teenage cyborg (half human, half machine) must deal with a wicked stepmother. It made me wonder if there a lot of independent androids in the Lunar Chronicles universe, but it mostly just made me tear up a lot.

This android reminded a lot of Iko, just a little quieter. But perhaps, in the end, that’s the secret of horror: it’s personal. The Lunar Chronicles are futuristic retellings of classic fairy tales.
